 | Korund actively goes on with modernization of production of so-called small-scale programmes to a total value of about 1 million dollars. Al this has become possible thanks to the fact that Korund has made a wider variety of goods available and begun to produce brand new goods that don’t require large investments.
For example, that applies to the creation of modern production of varnishes and paints. We mean the production of “Ekonom” and “Lyux” paints. The first step is putting the shop of experimental varnishes and paints into operation. The capacity of the shop is 150 tons of pentaphtalic materials a month. The shop is to produce 600 tons of traffic paint a year. The starting will be during the third decade of May.
Customers will be already able to purchase the paint by this summer. The quality and variety of the paint will not be different from the paints of the “Tikurilla” company. The second step of the creation of the modern varnishes and paints complex will begin at the end of May by building a modern shop of alkyd varnishes with a capacity of 25-30 thousand tons a year.
