The Chairman of the Town Council of veterans thanked the towns- folk of Dzerzhinsk who had supplied the front with their chemical finished products. Boyev also mentioned the factory workers who had supplied the legendary liquid “KC”.
Having joined the columns of demonstratory, the war veterans and factory employees laid wreaths on the eternal flame and the obelisk of Glory in Square of Heroes. A traditional meeting of the factory employees near the obelisk of Glory in the village of Datchnyi became the continuation of the festival. Wreaths were laid on the graves of the people who had fought in the last war, those who had died of wounds at the hospitals of Dzerzhinsk.
