 | Competitions took place at the shop where coloured corundums are being produced. The purpose was to reveal the best shift. The requirements which were used to appraise the work are rather strict: It is necessary to take care of cleanliness at a place for work, to keep to safety engineering rules, to assess production indices. Special attention was given to adherence to technological standards.
The initiative of holding similar competitions was Andrey, Sveshnikov,s brainchild. It is pleasant to know that the collective showed an interest in the proposal. The younger employees responded to the proposal with special enthusiasm. During the month the operators have striven to achieve the best results. At last the operators, team headed by Roumyantseva have got their title “the best shift”. Mrs. Sveshnikova said that the competitions had made the collective do their job better and made it more united.
