The administration has conferred anniversary medals on the former employees of “Korund” in honour of the sixtieth anniversary of victory in the Second World War.
The trade union president of “Korund” Y.V. Yermakov, the personnel manager at the factory and the president of veterans, Council V.D. Sorokin congratulated the employees.
Our veterans were listening to a lot of kind words. The administration thanked them officially, wished the veterans health and happiness. The ceremonies ended with a concert which, of course, gladdened all the veterans, because they were the heroes of the day. They were listening to the songs of their youth that had been enveloped by the flames of the war, songs from favorite films that were being performed by the chorus of veterans Zamyshlyev Y.M. heads the chorus. What our veterans need now is consideration, kindness and understanding.
