 | Traditionally “Korund” is monopolist in production of cyanic sodium in Russia. However, basing on last information, volumes of cyanic sodium imported to the territory of Russian Federation have grown up 3.7 times in the period from 2002 to 2004 year. Our main competitors in this branch of production are Korean Republic and Japan. Basing on data supplied by “Korund”, Ministry of economic development and trade of Russian Federation have started special defensive investigation concerning cyanic sodium.
The same investigation is started by MEDT concerning chloride ammonium. Such decision was made by the ministry basing on the results of consideration of declaration of “Korund” supported by “FGUP Kuibishevskiy Chemical Factory”. Volumes of chloride ammonium imported to the territory of Russian Federation from China and countries of EU have grown up by 169.4% in the period from 2002 to 2004 year.
